Q: Why are my legs and knees coming up when I’m doing sitting trot?

A: Tight hip, hamstrings. Need to stretch and maintain relaxation through your body. Work on lunge line and on the ground.

Q: Why am I bouncing in the saddle?

A: You need to relax your body and let your hips be open and follow the rhythm of the horse. Let your legs stay relaxed and stretch down.

Q: Why are my hands not still when I’m sitting the trot?

A: You need to work on your seat first to be deep in the saddle and relaxed upper body, soft arms, then your hands will be still.
